AB - 본 연구에서는 1910년 전후의 일본어교재 중에서, 한국인에 의해 쓰여진 초급레벨 문법 교재를 중심으로 그 특징과 동사활용에 대해 고찰해 보았다.
근대 조선의 통감시대를 전후로 한 시점에서의 일본어교육에서 사용되고 있었던 문법서의 내용 중 특히 동사에 대한 용어표기 등에 대해 고찰했다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일본어교육이 활성화 되지 않은 상황이어서 초보자 중심의 문법서가 대부분이다. 둘째, 주로 일본의 문법서를 인용하고 참조하였지만, 조선의 문법과 연결시켜 설명하고 있다. 셋째, 글자를 학습하는데 있어서 오늘과 달리 당시에는 가타가나를 학습한 후 히라가나를 가르치고 있다.. 넷째, 동사에 중점을 두고 설명하고 있는데, 이것은 옛날에도 지금처럼 동사를 중시했다고 하는 것을 알 수 있다.
