AB - 지금까지 현대 일본어의 「つもりだ」에 관한 연구에서는, 형태적인 구별이 없다는 이유로 「予定」과 「意志」를 ≪意志≫라는 하나의 용법으로 다루어왔으나, 유사 표현들과의 교체현상, 2인칭과의 공기관계에서 그 차이점이 보여 진다. 따라서 유사표현과의 교체현상, 2인칭과의 공기관계, 그리고 화자의 의도성 강약이라는 관점에서, ≪意志≫용법을 「予定」과 「意志」의 용법으로 하위분류하여 고찰하였다.
「予定」의 경우에는, 주체의 감정 보다 결정사항(스케줄)을 나타내는 용법이기 때문에, 「～(よ)うと思う」와 치환할 수 없으며, 주체가 2인칭인 의문문에서도 사용할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
그 반면에, 「意志」의 경우에는, 주체의 감정을 나타내는 용법이기 때문에 「～予定だ」와 치환할 수 없으며, 주체가 2인칭인 의문문에 사용하면 실례되는 표현이 된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 특징으로 인해, 「予定」과 「意志」는 각각 다른 용법으로 분류하는 것이 타당하다고 생각된다.
