AB - 본 고는 부경대학교에서 행해진 2002년도 동계코스에 대한 실천 보고이며, 또한 코스 전후에 행한 테스트의 비교와 의식조사의 결과를 토대로 그 교육적 효과에 대해서 논한 것이다.
코스의 목적은 각 레벨에서 네 가지 기능(말하기, 읽기, 듣기, 쓰기)의 습득과 일본문화의 이해를 향상시키는 것이며, 특히 말하는 것에 중점을 두었다. 기간은 2003년 1월 3일부터 1월 30일 까지, 일요일과 공휴일을 제외한 24일간이다. 대상은 부경대학교에서 일본어를 배우고 있는 학생 23명으로, 코스를 시작하기 전에 프레스멘트테스트(면접･필기)를 행하여, 상급(12명), 중급(11명)의 두 개의 반으로 나누었다. 수업은 두 반 모두 프리토킹(80분), 문법・회화(80분), 스피치(80분), 활동(80분)의 4과목으로, 앞의 두 과목은 교과서를, 스피치는 학생의 작문을 교재로 사용하였다. 활동은 토요일 교외학습으로 연결되도록 구성한 프로젝트워크를 행하였다.
코스 전후의 테스트 결과를 비교하면 두 반 모두 코스 후의 점수가 좋고, 특히 면접에서의 득점의 향상이 높았다. 또 두 반 모두 표준편차가 작았다. 의식조사에서는 모든 과목에서의 재미와 유익함에 대해서 높이 평가 되었다. 또 자기 평가와 코스전체에 대한 만족도도 높았다.
