AB - 본 연구는 한국인과 일본인의 모어를 사용한 부차언어정보발화에 대한 양 모어화자의 청취와, 일본인이 발화한 일본어 부차언어정보발화에 대한 한국인의 지각 특징을 비교·대조하고, 각 발화의 음성적 특성을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 그 방법으로 먼저, 모어의 성취성향을 살피기 위하여 한·일 양 모어화자가 각자의 모어로 녹음한 부차언어정보 발화를 청취자의 모어별로 각각 들려주고 발화의도를 판정하게 하였다. 또한, 모어와 일본어의 청취 성향에 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위하여 일본인의 일본어 발화를 한국인에게 들려준 결과를 모어 청취 결과와 비교한 후, 각 발화에 대한 음향분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.
우선, 일본인과 한국인은 모두 모어의 부차언어정보를 판단할 때, 발화문의 종류보다는 발화의도에 따른 영향을 받지만 한국인이 일본어를 판정할 때에는 발화문의 종류와 발화의도 모두의 영향을 받는 경향이 있다. 다음으로, 일본어와 한국어의 감탄 발화는 억양이나 발화지속시간 면에서는 유사성을 확인할 수 없었음에도 불구하고, 청취자 조건에 상관없이 높은 정답률을 기록하였다. 마지막으로, 실망, 의심, 무관심, 중립의 발화의도에 대하여 혼동이 발생한 이유로는 문말 억양과 발화지속시간의 유사성을 들 수 있는데, 유사성이 높을수록 혼동의 발생률이 높았다.
