ABSTRACT

This paper proposed the premise and practicum of narrative therapy in the Bible with Biblical world view. The perspective of the narrative therapy practiced in the Bible cannot be isolated from the ‘Christian culture and language. A discourse is made up stories, action and text. It is to propose that we live by the stories that we have about our lives, that these stories actually shape our lives, constitute our lives, and that they “embrace”our lives. This is to proposed the human beings are interpreting beings-that we are active in the interpretation of our experiences as they live their lives. It’s to propose that It’s not possible for human bing to interpret human’s experience without access to some frame of intelligibility, one that provides a context for experience, one that makes the attribution of meaning possible. And, stories constitute this frame of intelligibility. The Bible’plot includes “moving story”. Bible story is developed events, sequence, time, and a plot. It’s to propose that depends on Text plot, christian’s identity can change. The story plot has the connective role among life events. If clients illuminate their problem differently, they can see the possibility to held alternative story plot, and their identities are creating in the narrative therapy.
