AB - The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of the Biblical Counseling on the anxiety levels of parenting mothers. The qualitative case study is based on counseling records and interviews of three Christian mothers who have completed the parenting program and have finished the Biblical Counseling three months prior to the qualitative research. In order to achieve the research goal, three questions are raised. In what form does anxiety of parenting appear in their life? What are their motives of the anxiety on parenting based on biblical view point? How and what have changed in their life by the Biblical Counseling, and did the changes last to this day? The results of the study are as follows: first, Biblical Counseling solves the anxiety on parenting by reducing conflict, restoring the relationship between family members, and assisting in the spiritual growth of individuals. Secondly, when meditation of Bible, practice of devotion and praying are integrated into life, conflicts between parents and children lessened, and prolonged effect of counseling and parenting program. These practices help parents to reflect their own sinful reaction. Lastly, comfortable relationship with children can be built by educating parents with effective communication methods and nature of mental and physical development of child.
The results indicate that activated parenting program with the biblical view point and Biblical Counseling can support many parents in the church.
