AB - The purpose of this study is to examine spiritual qualities as identity factors of Christian counselors and to suggest tasks for improvement of spiritual qualities. The study first explored the definitions, goals, and characteristics of Christian counseling, which are differentiated from general counseling, and provided a deeper understanding of Christian counselors based on this, and it was insighted that spiritual qualities could be a key factor in the formation of identity. In order to improve the spiritual qualities of Christian counselors, first, I proposed to organize curriculum as an academic society level task, to assign Christian world view to essential curriculum, and to deal spirituality problem in supervision. second, the counselors emphasized the effective use of personal training and Christian resources as an individual task, and an effective plan for presenting the gospel to the client in the counseling scene. and I suggested a close examination of the concrete method and an active discussion. In order to improve the spiritual qualities of Christian counselors, first, I proposed curriculum as an academic society level assignment, Christian world view assignment as essential curriculum, and spirituality problem in supervision. Christian counselors will be able to contribute to fulfilling the mission of establishing true identity and expanding the kingdom of God on earth through Christian counseling.
