ABSTRACT
The objective of this study is to present the concrete measures of pastoral care for Christian adolescents with cyber overdependence. In the opening, the necessity and purpose of research on the issue of cyber dependence among adolescents are presented, and in the main body, The researcher examined the theoretical background, and looked at the definition of terms, the concept of cyberspace, and the positive and negative functions of cyberspace. The researcher reviewed the concept of cyber overdependence and previous studies related to cyber overdependence. In addition, the researcher examined the problem of cyber dependence from a Christian perspective, and examined the developmental understanding of adolescents and the characteristics of Christian adolescents. Thus, the researcher suggested total five kinds of pastoral care for cyber Christian adolescents. First, a pastor should provide the pastoral care that could enhance the spiritual well-being for the prevention of cyber overdependence. Second, a pastor should be able to build a faith community that embraces the adolescents who feel alienated, so they do not fall into cyber overdependence. Third, a pastor should provide the pastoral care that prevents the cyber overdependence and also operates a healing program.
