ABSTRACT

This thesis reveals that grief is an opportunity for Christians to meet God, who is experienced as an absent person, as a God who groans with me, and furthermore, it is a channel to exalt God's being as God and hope for hope from God. In this process, the wisdom of a Christian counselor who fears Jehovah not only accepts and safely contains the client in grief, but also promotes the client's grief, thereby arousing the client's negative emotions and helping the client to recognize God as the object of grief. . Also, God who groans for the prevalent sins on this earth and the resurrection of Jesus sent by that God after the crucifixion are the promise of restoration that has already been fulfilled to those who are united to Christ. Therefore, in this thesis, first of all, the meaning and direction of grief of the Israelites in the journey of salvation the people of Israel, chosen by God, will be discussed, and the process and direction of grief in general counseling today will be discussed . In addition, we look at how grief in Christian counseling, which is different from general counseling, should be experienced and handled with what orientation. Finally, I suggest the virtues of wisdom necessary for Christian counselors who share the grief of Christians.
