The purpose of this study is to reveal the self-growth experiences and their underlying meanings that Christian adult middle-aged woman have achieved through the process of raising children. The research questions for achieving this purpose are as follows: First, what are the experiences of self-growth through child-rearing among Christian adult middle-aged women? Second, what are the meanings of these experiences of child-rearing and self-growth among Christian adult middle-aged women? To conduct the research, six Christian adult middle-aged women between the ages of 50 to 65 were selected for in-depth interviews. The interview data were analyzed following Clandinin and Connelly's (2000) narrative inquiry procedure consisting of five stages, in order to explore their experiences and derive their meanings. The results of this study, it can be concluded that self-growth among Christian adult middle-aged women is connected with their role as parents. Importantly, prayer played a significant role in expanding their lives towards one dedicated to God's glory.
