AB - The purpose of this study is to develop an effective character education program for parents to help them to play the biblical parental role through Christian character education in the field of children's education area which requires parents' role to serve as a role model and to teach their children biblical values in Christian family which is a faith community. To this end, this paper developed a Christian character education program and a biblical character education based on Christian worldview, targeting the parents of Christian alternative schools with school-age children, and verified its effectiveness. In conclusion, this research verified that the Christian character education program for the parents of alternative schools is proven to be effective for the Christian parents' nurture efficacy sense, parent-child communication, parents' spiritual well-being. Therefore, this study implies that the Christian character education program for parents helps them to improve parent-child communication and relationship by providing practical practices, and to enhance their spiritual well-being by living a life of sanctification revealing God's character along with a transformed life bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit, with their identity as God's child.
