ABSTRACT
Recently, in Korea and other OECD countries, the new poverty problem and the working poor problem create tremendous social turmoil. The purpose of this article is to provide a solution, so called, "entrepreneurial policy," to those problems after examining issues and identifying causes. The reasons why entrepreneurship receives so much attention these days are that employment opportunities have been reduced dramatically and entrepreneurship is a seed for innovation, which can lead to jobs and economic growth. In this article, our suggestion as desirable entrepreneurial policy is, by providing supports and growth opportunities to the disadvantaged people and firms, increasing innovation capabilities in society and pursuing sustainable economic growth.
