ABSTRACT

In this study, the case of Korea's international education development cooperation for the improvement of Cambodian national assessment system is presented under the framework of official development assistance. By providing more specialized and tailored consulting on Cambodian national assessment, we tried to contribute to enhancement of evaluation ability of change-agents who are in charge of sustainability of the project outcomes. In order to meet the goal of strengthening the capacity in educational assessment, this project focused on two aspects: provide support for item and test development, and data analysis of the national assessment. The significance of this study is to provide empirical experience and data to seek the direction of Korea's educational development cooperation in the future, particularly in the field of education evaluation.
