ABSTRACT

This study aims to investigate the academic achievement, academic self-efficacy, and clinical performance ability of dental hygiene students, and to identify factors that influence clinical performance ability. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted targeting third and fourth-year dental hygiene students in the Gyeonggi region. A total of 144 collected responses were included in the statistical analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors influencing clinical performance ability. The academic ach ievement of the participants was 3.43±0.64 points, academic self-effi cacy was 3.42±0.57 points, and clinical performance ability was 3.88±0.61 points.
