AB - The purpose of this study is to investigate the current condition of lifelong education participation and awareness by local residents A district and to present ways to revitalize lifelong education by expanding lifelong education participation. To this end, the current condition of lifelong education was analyzed through a survey of adult learners and authorized person. The data analysis was conducted using SPSS ver.25, an independent sample t test, and The Locus for Focus model analysis. Focusing group interviews(FGI) were conducted with authorized person and lifelong educational activist. it was analyzed using a method of repeated comparative analysis.
As a result of study, measures to revitalize lifelong education are as follows for expanding participation in lifelong learning. First, a cooperative lifelong learning network is needed. Secondly, the lifelong education system of empathy among learners. Third, a virtuous cycle of learning, sharing and rematurity is being established. Fourth, we need a lifelong learning foundation led by learners.
The research suggests that, from an academic and practical point of view, individual autonomous districts have provided ways to revitalize lifelong education tailored to local residents by expanding their participation in lifelong education. The results of this study are expected to be useful materials for revitalizing lifelong education for residents of each borough.
