AB - Purpose: this descriptive study is to develop nursing job at the divisional health care unit, contributed to the military medical affairs development plan.
Methods: In the first step, the nursing practices was listed up of reviewing literatures. The nursing practices categorized in-patient and out-patient nursing and community nursing. And the list was confirmed of fitness through interviews of medical workers at the divisional health care unit. The list of nursing practices was getting advice from various experts.
Results: 1. nursing practices of in-patient and out-patient Nursing practices composed of 12 categories: checking & observation, respiratory nursing, nutrition & excretion, activity & individual hygiene, medication,
treatment& procedure, patient education &
support, crisis management, the operating
nursing unit, reporting, supporting and other administration jobs. 94 sub-categories: from checking vital signs to making out statistic data. 2. Community Nursing practices composed of 11 categories: education & consultation, vaccination, health promotion, operating health project in division, group examination, emergency treatment, management of disease, follow up of discharged patients, health statistics, managing of disaster, research & development. 73 sub-categories: from educating BLS to development & research of military medical services.
