ABSTRACT

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to build a military science education system for `14 – `17academic curriculums after reviewing both theoretical and training subjects and course objectives ofmilitary science subjects of AFNA. Methods : Educational needs of 35 experts in cadet education andmilitary science were analyzed after studying the related literatures. Educational needs were reviewedby six senior experts after analyzing series of three Delphi survey. Results : The objectives of militaryscience in AFNA were concluded into three categories: Acquisition of basic military knowledge asnursing officers, equipment of fundamental combat skill as nursing officers, and understanding ofnursing subjects in military circumstances. As a result, the proposed courses included five theoreticalstudies for degree, two equivalent credit subjects, and 12 military training courses. Conclusion : Thisstudy established a theoretical framework of developing military science by reflecting both actualneeds from field army and clinical needs; consequently, provided fundamental data for `14 – `17curriculum revision.
