AB - This study applied empirical approach in order to restore mould material for metal type wax casting method. (1) Matrix Material: wax, pine resin-added wax and paraffin were used. (2) Mould Material: any sticky clay was acceptable as main material. Graphite was useful as the subsidiary material, and its adding proportion was 20 percent.(3) Component of Alloy, Pouring Quantity and Method: it was possible to make an alloy of copper with 55 through 70 percent. The amount of metal poured was a very small quantity of around 200 grams, and conventional pouring method was also applicable.(4) Number of Character Strokes: the density of strokes was negatively related to the success of casting to some degree.(5) Success and Contraction Rate of Casting: the success rate of casting was 1.41%, and its contraction rate was 92.13%.
