AB - Ow-Un was a remarkable compiler of the middle years of the Chosun Dynasty (A.D. 1540～1617). In correcting the errors of the originals, he was very careful and diligent. He had his own ideas on the rearrangement or reconstruction of sentences. Especially, he concentrated his attention on the system of compiling and correcting of typos in the characters meaning. This article tries to prove he was good at writing and correcting and he was a good compiler of the middle years of the Chosun Dynasty.
