AB - The Naesabon(內賜本), a book given by the king in the Joseon Period, has the Naesagi(內賜記) on the verso of its cover. The Naesagi has seven content elements including ‘Date(頒賜日子)’, ‘Bestowal(內賜)’, ‘Grantee(受取者)’, ‘Book Title(書名)’, ‘Number of Items(頒賜件)’, ‘Granter(頒賜者)’, and ‘Command Not To Express Appreciation(命除謝恩)’. In this research, the descriptions form of the Naesagi on the Naesabon are analyzed in the following sequence: First, the seven content elements are examined in detail; Second, the features of each element are identified; and finally, a standard form of the Naesagi most regularly used in the Joseon Period is defined.
