ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper was to examine the changes in the text and organization of contents of Hyojeonggong Gyeongsu-sijip first published in 1509, its second edition in 1682, and its third edition in 1919. It was found that the form and the contents of woodblock editions were the same as those of lithographic editions, and wooden type printing books and new-style type printing books were almost the same in them. The manuscript had the form and the contents similar to those of woodblock editions. When compared with the contents of the woodblock edition of Hyojeonggong Gyeongsu-sijip printed in 1509, nine items were added to the edition printed with wooden types, one item to the manuscript, three items to the lithographic edition, and three items to the edition printed with new-style types. What were added were the records about Hyojeonggong and his descendants.
