AB - This study investigated the method of bibliographical description of Siku-quanshu Jianming-mulu. which is a short version of Siku- quanshu zongmu -tiyao printed by Ji-yun(紀昀), Kangxi reign, Qing Dynasty. The bibliographical description was examined in respect to title, volume number, written age, name of author, functional word of authorship, and noteworthy examples. Then the study compared the aforementioned aspects with those in Gyujang-chongmok, Nupan-go, and Hong-ssi Dokseorok. The significance of Siku-quanshu Jianming-mulu was found in the fact that it established entries for annotated works based on considerably unified method of bibliographical description and provided strong influence on the bibliographical description of Joseon Dynasty, Korea.
