AB - This study dealt with the book Gogyungjoongmabang which have been compiled by Toegye Yi Hwang at the end of the 16th century. Gogyungjoongmabang is mainly composed of literary works which have been written by chinese ancient sages. For example, Chu-tzu, Sima Guang, Zhen Dexiu, King Wu, etc are the original author of the works. So the study was carried out from a part study of Toegye bibliography whose area close in upon 100 kinds of different books. According to this purpose, we tried to examine related records and historical data of Gogyungjoongmabang. Moreover the investigation of bibliographic characteristic and text comparison of each editions doesn’t missed as well. The findings of this study, Gogyungjoongmabang was published 4 times in Cho sun period including the first edition of Andong area. The three editions except first edition are engraved with newly written original script, that is called ‘Joongganbon’ in bibliography. In the text comparison of each editions, we could see various type of misprint, letter of popular form, omitted letter, phrase inversion so forth. But first edition of Andong in 1607 has the least errors of all, and the edition could be regarded as most similar original copy provisionally.
