AB - Sasojeol is the education and moral standard book for children, women, and scholars, which was authored by Duck-moo Lee, Silhak (Realist School of Confucianism) scholar of Chosun times. This study consist of review on the life and writings of Lee Duck-moo and overview on Cheongjanggwanseo and moral standard books of Chosun times. In addition to review on the background of writing Sasojeol and its structure, different versions of Sasojeol including first draft version, official draft version, and metal type version were reviewed. This study conducted investigation on hereditary version of Sasojeol and also conducted comparative analysis of written version of Cheongjangkwansasojeol, which is known to be official draft version of Sasojeol, and printed version of Sasojeol. Through this study it was found out that two versions show difference in terms of overall structure and classifications of detailed subjects, and official draft version Sasojeol is the amendement, rearrangement, and addition made to written version of Cheongjjeonggwansasojeol.
