AB - This study is about the woodblocks at Taego temple and relevant record of the woodblocks in various historical records. Especially we focused the type and number of woodblocks at the temple. According to the study, we could find out these facts as follows ;
1. The number of woodblocks in the Taego temple were estimted about 6,000 pieces of 40 kinds according to historical records and various literature.
2. We could examine the number, the title and the condition of woodblocks in Taego temple via related records, for example Naegakilryuk, Ilseungrok, 「Bukhantaegosasojae-chaekpansoohyo」, Bukhantaegosasojae-chaekpangoobyulseungchaek so forth.
3. The existing book that was printed with the woodblocks in the temple were sum up to 6 kinds, which were remained in various institutions.
4. In historical records, the kinds of woodblocks in the temple were regarded 40, so we need to carry out further reseach in later. It could be helpful in the understanding of publishing trend at Bukhansan and the temples in the area.
