ABSTRACT

This research was performed for the philological proving the necessity of corrected text concerning collating issue, which had been raised like the one to be needed in prior settling, in the middle of translation, annotation and research course of Daijō hossō kenshinshō, which the author works for, and the suggesting the direction for text officializing. First, through the state of the existing texts of “Kenshinshō,” its genealogy was estimated, then by the work catching the collated conditions of the versions of “Zensho” and other else, the problems seen on the previous ones were derived. Based on a clear recognition of these problems, the necessity of the new corrected version of the text was confirmed. Therefore, the important things to officialize the text are the existence of the good version of the text, its clear record, correct information of the object to collate, understanding the context, and detailed memos about collating issues etc. that should be performed. Furthermore, in about the problems of existing text, audacious correction is also necessary to the distance in keeping not beyond the writer’s own view.
