AB - This thesis studies the aspect of variation of Korean toad gratitude folktales in Chinese-Korean's folktales. In this thesis I study the type and character of Korean toad gratitude folktales and aspect of variation and meaning in Chinese-Korean's folktales. There are following three meanings in Chinese-Korean's toad gratitude folktales. First, there are emphasized the consciousness of community. Second, there are reflected the strong will about rejection of devil. Third, there appears the hope for the happy life.
