AB - The purpose of this study is to study the main features and significance of the New Songbook Cheonggu-yeongeon Park Sun-ho Version(청구영언 박순호본) in comparison with the other Songbooks in the Joseon Dynasty. Cheonggu-yeongeon Park Sun-ho Version is very similar to Cheonggu- yeongeon Original Version(청구영언 진본) in terms of the overall system or the arrangement according to tune and author. In this regard, Cheonggu- yeongeon Park Sun-ho Version is more closely related to Cheonggu-yeongeon Original Version than any other Songbook. Therefore it could be provided that Cheonggu-yeongeon Park Sun-ho Version is the songbook which corresponds to the rough copy of Cheonggu-yeongeon Original Version.
As the rough copy Cheonggu-yeongeon Park Sun-ho Version is the research material which shows the compilation process of Cheonggu- yeongeon Original Version very concretely. Therefore there is a necessity which will pay attention to this fact. This fact shows the process where he collects the work and compiles the song book well. Consequently it will be able to evaluate that this book is important and counts for much.
Nevertheless, I can not say that Cheonggu-yeongeon Park Sun-ho Version has nothing to do with the songbooks of Cheonggu-yeongeon Jangseogak Version(청구영언 장서각본) series. In future I will compare Cheonggu- yeongeon Park Sun-ho Version with the songbooks of Cheonggu-yeongeon Jangseogak Version series minutely and reveal the feature and a value of this book. This study will be of help to grasps the feature of the compilation of the songbooks in the Joseon Dynasty.
