Thisreporttakesonthepositionthatadaptationcanresultinamasterwork thatsurpassestheoriginal,anddividestheaspectsofreconfigurationand embodimentofcharactersof「Sounjeon」intothreeareasofcharacterremoval androleintegration,creationofadditionalcharacters,andrecreationofthe personalityoftheexistingcharactersforcomparisonandconsiderationper character,and discussed the overallcharacteristics and significance of characterreconfiguration.
Found in the aspects of character form recreation shown through adaptationaretheuniqueperspectivesoftheauthorof「Sounjeon」onworld,life,andwomen,progressivespiritoftheera,andidealandaim oflifeof nobilityclass.Theauthorexerciseshiscreativecapacitythroughcharacter reconfigurationtocreatecharacteristicalcharactersanduniquenarrativessoas toactualizeanoriginaltheme,whichsucceededasarecreationdistinguished from 「Sojihyeonnasamjaehap」.Moreover,the reconfigured charactersare portraysothattheirpersonalitiesandbehaviorsareconsistentwithinternal logicsothatitsurpassestheoriginalworkfrom theperspectiveofrationality.
Inotherwords,from theperspectiveofcharacterformalization,「Sounjeon」is notasimpleadaptationorrecreationwithjustlingualconversion,butisa recreationworkwithindependentliteraryvaluewhichsurpassestheoriginal inliterarycompletenes
