The effect of intolerance of uncertainty, self-efficacy and attitude of career decision making in college dance student

ABSTRACT

This study is intended to identify the effect of self-efficacy and intolerance of uncertainty on attitude of career decision making in college dance student. The subject of the study is 226 students in universities located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and all questions were made up, with a survey as a measurement tool, on the basis of precedent study and theories conforming to purpose of the study. Data were processed, with use of SPSS WIN Ver.14.0, through simple regression analysis to identify the effect of intolerance of uncertainty on self-efficacy and attitude of career decision making. As a result, it indicates that all about self-efficacy and attitude of career decision making were affected. To identify the effect of self-efficacy on attitude of career decision making, multiple-regression analysis was performed. As a result, it demonstrates that self-efficacy positively affected independence and preparedness in factors of attitude of career decision making, and confidence negatively affected decisive dimension and practicality, and level of difficulty negatively affected practicality and independence in the factors of attitude of career decision making.
