Regulations for Review of Article
1. Editorial Board of KRSDS supervises reviews of articles.
2. Editor in Chief organizes an editorial committee, appoints three reviewers per article whose majors are related to the article in question, and determines the acceptance for publication according to the results of reviews.
(1) Reviewers evaluate appointed articles and select one of the following criteria: ‘Publish without modification’, ‘Publish with minor revision’, ‘Re-review after major revision’, ‘Rejected for publication.’
① Publish without modification: The article can be published without modification.
② Publish with minor revision: The article shows clear contents and conclusion in spite of minor defects in structure or form. The contributor is required to submit a revised paper and a revision fulfillment form within a week.
③ Re-review after major revision: The article needs significant revision for the logic of content and organization and for validity of conclusion. The article is not published in the oncoming issue in principle, however when the author(s) raise(s) an objection, the Editorial board shall re-review it and determined the acceptance for publication.
④ Rejected for publication: The article is impossible for publication because the subject is already published and/or because the contents and conclusion lack reliability.
Three reviwers’ judgements will be compiled to the synthetic judgement as followings

(2) Review of Article
① Review of article is a double-blind process for the contributors and reviewers.
② The article must adopt the style system specified in The Korean Journal of Dance Studies.
③ An article received 'Re-review after major revision’ can apply for re-review up to two times.
④ Abstract is subject to a check for the content and length.
(3) When reviewers decide the need for revision, re-review, or rejection, they must describe the reason in detail in the Article Review Opinion Form.
3. Contributors of the articles are excluded from reviewing articles of the issue in question.
4. President who by regulation cannot be appointed as the Editor in Chief is qualified for a reviewer.
5. English abstracts are subject to a check by Reviews Editor.
6. Other concerns are consulted and decided by Editorial Board.
