The Relationship among Participation Motivation, Demotivation and Career Self-Efficacy of Dance Majors

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among participation motivation, demotivation and career self-efficacy of dance majors. For this purpose, dance majors in the university located in Seoul was set as a population and then finally collected 137 by convenience sampling method. The data process was performed by frequency analysis, reliability test, multiple regression analysis and path analysis. The results were as follows: First of all, the participation motivation affect demotivation. Secondly, the participation motivation affect positively career self-efficacy. Thirdly, career self-efficacy affect positively demotivation. Lastly, there was the mediating effect of career self-efficacy was inspected in the relationship between participation motivation and demotivation.
