ABSTRACT

Modern dance art combined with various other genres such as theater, circus, video, science and art. Using a variety of digital technologies and media, new faces have never been seen before. This genre of dance has given the audience access to a wider range of dance performances. As the size of digital media has grown and the role of media has become important, dance clubs around the world have begun to utilize video media to showcase their work to the public. This study was highly artistic among the popular works of the 21st century and examined the creative use of the Pilobolus Dance Theater, which contains various elements of fusion and synthesis. As a result, the following aspects of fusion and hybridization appear in Shadowland of Pilobolus. First, he created a new fantastic image dance through the transformation of movement through shading. Second, we have created a new device to capture the audience through irregular space and regular time. Third, it expanded the area of expression of works by utilizing digital images. As such, the Shadowland of the Pilobolus Dance Theater revealed its fusion and complex aspects through the acceptance of dance, other genres, and the use of digital media, and its innovative changes in choreography, or geometric movements. The work shows that new attempts are being made in modern dance arts through harmony with other fields, not movement.
