ABSTRACT

Writers of the Korea Dynasty wrote a poem about the Landscape paintings. They preferred Songjeok's The eight scenic paintings('소상팔경도'), Jangeonbo's The painting white clouds in the blue mountains(‘청산백운도’), Naong bonze's The paintings of snowy mountains in the clouds('운산도 설산도'). Why they prefer this figure are as follows:When the soldiers who took office, many minister have preferred '소상팔경도'. First, the impression that the paintings of beauty. Second, painting is a way out for spiritual comfort. Third, the artist described the landscape of China. The next time, new scholars who entered the government office preferred '청산백운도‘. First, They were aware of a new nature. They found the beauty in nature. They feel the interest and pleasure in the beauty of nature. So they preferred Literary Artists' Paintings which the scenery was bland and plain, and prefer the picture on the margins. At Late Korea Dynasty, Many minister have preferred '운산도 설산도'. The artist painted the mountains and rivers of Korea. The poet is sympathetic to the topic of the painter. Poets shared the themes and techniques of the painting. The mountains obscured by clouds, The snowy mountains, Valleys full of mist, Poets favored these materials. Because they conflict between reality and ideal. In the political reality, they had to like the ambiguous shape. A preference for painting changes according to the conditions obtaining at the time.
