ABSTRACT

This study published guidelines for credits earned from among the certification standards for qualifications for national examinations in related departments in relation to the health care information administrator (formerly, medical recorder), which is being conducted in earnest in 2021. The Korea Health and Medical Information Management Education and Evaluation Institute (KAHIME, Jeong-Pyeong-Won), which was held on June 11, 2020, is conducting preliminary activities for the certification process in earnest through the '2020 First Self-Assessment Report Workshop'. As of July 2020, the Korea Health and Medical Information Management Education Evaluation Institute (KAHIME) is applying for 'Designated Review of Accreditation Institutions under Article 11-2 of the Higher Education Act'. It is expected that certification will begin in earnest. The certification procedure required for a health care information administrator is largely composed of four fields. In this paper, I would like to propose a problem and alternative model for credits required for certification.
