AB - This paper purports to examine the effect of trust in government on diverse participatory behaviors. Although many studies on trust in government have focused on the concept itself or determinants, they neglected the impact of trust in government especially on participation. To examine the discriminative effect, we categorized participation into institutional and non-institutional participation. The analytical result of analysis shows that trust in government does not have an effect on institutional participation, but have an effect on non-institutional participation.
