AB - With the implementation of the performance-related pay and the enactment of the National University Accounting Law, the remuneration system of the national university professors is making considerable changes. In the meantime, comparative studies on the remuneration between civil servants and other types of public servants have been steadily conducted.
However, there are few studies comparing the remuneration system between national university professors and general civil servants. In this study, based on the principle of comparative balance and preferential treatment, the question is whether the 'profits of the national university professors are more favorable than the remuneration of the general civil servants. In order to answer this question, this study compares the remuneration system between national university professors and general public employees of grade 5 and above.
