AB - The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of the automated cataloging systems in academic libraries. For the purpose, the developing process and problems of automated cataloging systems were examined. The focus was on investigation of recognition of cataloging librarians and system developers. The result of this study is expected to analyze needs of cataloging librarians and overcome gaps with users and developers.
