AB - The purpose of this study is to survey the real user educations which are practiced at school libraries in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeongi provinces, to analyze them, and to propose the efficient methods for user education in school libraries. The results of this study are like these: 1) Teacher librarians have to be placed in every school library. 2) Teacher librarians have to develop the education contents for library user education. 3) School libraries ought to be supported by education authorities and school directors. 4) School libraries should practice the user education based on the regular school curriculum. It's thought that it's important to solve the problems like these: teacher librarians' disposition, and the attentions of school directors, students, teachers, and parents, the development of education contents, and the having plenty time for user education.
