AB - This study was conducted to develop learning worksheets to help achieve the learning goals that were determined in a task-based English lesson plan. The study displayed the process of the development of learning worksheets through managing a course, English Teaching Materials and Methods, that is essential to earn the English teacher's license. After describing the management of the course, the study focused on exploring how the students should design their lesson plans to teach a simulated class. To help students design the lesson plan, the author developed and presented the guidelines for determining the lesson goals of a task-based lesson and the overview of a one-period task-based lesson plan. Finally, worksheets developed by the author were presented to help achieve the lesson goals. It is concluded that preparing worksheets will help teachers and learners achieve the goals of lessons.
