AB - With the rapid progress in informatization, the national administration heavily depends on the information systems. However, the real situation is that the preparation for disaster recovery is insufficient in the public sector.
This paper considers the construction of the remote backup center for the most critical national information systems for the purpose of the government administration continuity.
First, the most critical target systems are selected based on the cost analysis. Then, the technical details of the backup center are explained. Finally, we proposed the conceptual structure of the shared backup center, considering scalability and cost efficiency.
With the construction of the government information system backup center, we can expect the improved business continuity and the advanced operation infrastructure for the public information systems.
