ABSTRACT

In today's changing world, knowledge, and the processes to generate it and manage it, have become key factors in creating competitive business advantage. From an strategic knowledge systems perspective, this paper explores some of the implications and key contributions that knowledge sharing can make for the transition toward organizational commitment. This paper presents a model of knowledge sharing from the its antecedent factors have on organizational commitment. The examination of the study model was carried out with the results of the 222 questionnaire survey data done at six different organizations. For the analysis of actual proof, structural equation model analysis was done using LISREL 8.3 and the results are as follows. As a result of this study, knowledge sharing is an important influence to organizational commitment and all the 4 antecedent factors for knowledge sharing are identified that they are important influences of organizational commitment.
