AB - To use film in philosophy classroom is good in that film excites students and serves for the concrete example of philosophical theories. This article is a case study of using cinema in teaching philosophy. First, I explain the three theories on personal identity, and six thought experiments to be used to clarify the strength and weakness of each theories. Embodying the thought experiments, SF films are good teaching materials. I explain how film clips are to be used in classroom.
