AB - The evaluation of postwar Korean history seems to be condensed as a simultaneous success of industrialization and democratization. But it is also certain that the various elements of social conflicts in our society have increased through it. Now, I think, we must need radical reflections about the orientation of development of our society. For these radical reflections, we must above all diagnose and know the inner problems of our society exactly. The aim of this thesis is to propose the synthetical and critical diagnosis about the complex structural elements of social conflicts in our society through the three key words, that is, exclusion, reification and disrespect. For this aim, firstly, I explained the general meanings of these three concepts and their theoretical background. Secondly, I examined the changes of the structure of social conflicts in Korean society. And then I distinguished the structural elements of social conflicts in our society categorically and explained their relations of them through these three concepts. Finally I examined the meaning and the remained tasks of this work.
