ABSTRACT

According to it’s way of thinking, the western traditional metaphysics seeks after beingness which determines beings as such primarily and generally. The metaphysics regards this beingness as Being itself. So long as the Being of metaphysics as something(whatness of being) is a being which is, it should be based on the highest, divine being which causes the being of all beings. The metaphysics thinks of the god, therefore it comes to have the structure of Onto-Theo-Logie. Heidegger considers often the plato’s understanding of Being as the leading model. This article tries to survey how much plato’s determinations of Being, with his changed viewpoint on the truth, characterize basically the western metaphysics. It examines as well, what Being itself as unconcealment in heidegger means and in what direction his overcoming or deconstruction of the traditional metaphysics is headed. It brings to light that Heidegger’s ‘metaphysics’ as the other thinking is like a leaping to the fact that the thing is and, according to his understanding of the essence of the poem, a dwelling while composing a poem on the earth.
