ABSTRACT

Numerous studies focusing on economic factors such as instability, unemployment, and recession tend to link these with intolerant attitudes toward minorities. However, political variables are equally influential. Individuals with high political consciousness, who are capable of empathetic understanding, and who possess diverse experiences are more likely to be inclusive of minorities. This study analyzes the correlation betweenpolitical variables and inclusiveness toward minorities and confirms that politically aware individuals tend to be more inclusive. This underscores the importance of considering political factors in promoting inclusiveness toward minorities and highlights the role of political education and engagement in enhancing the understanding and acceptance of social minorities. The finding also underscores the need to support diverse political activities to foster active participants in a democratic society.
