AB - The selection of basic concepts for geography education is an important task to make the identity of geography education and it is also necessary for developing geographical thinking of students. In this context, this study analyzed the basic concepts for geography education through analysis of geography curriculums of 2015 revised geography curriculum and six countries, USA (California), Canada (Ontario), UK, New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for discussing the basic concepts for geography education in Korea.
