AB - 本稿は、日帝强占期に朝鮮總督府より發行された『普通學校修身書』と日本の文部省により發行された『尋常小學修身書』を具体的に比較検討したものである。また、日帝が『普通學校修身書』のなかで、登場した忠とのかかわりある人物を通じて、どのように児童に教育させたのか、また、どのように變容させおしえたのかを考察したものである。 日帝は統監府時代から强制合倂の第三期まで(1938)は、忠の意味が朝鮮の王を指して言うものと判斷して忠と関係ある人物を『普通學校修身書』ではあまり登場させなかった。しかし中日戰爭以後は積極的に君のために滅私奉公する「忠良な皇國臣民の育成」させる敎育の方針に従って、日本の『尋常小學修身書』よりもっと「忠君愛國」を强調させた。また日帝は被植民である朝鮮の児童に「忠君愛國」の精神を養うため、手本となるたくさんの軍人を登場させて、このような犠牲精神を発揮させるのが忠良な皇國臣民になるものだとおしえさせた。 つまり、『普通學校修身書』は朝鮮の児童に「忠君愛國」の思想を注入させるのに重要な役割を演じたことががわかった。また、日帝は児童たちに将来普通學校を卒業したあとでも‘陸軍特別志願兵’や徵兵令’をつうじて忠良な皇國臣民の軍人として養成させようとしたことがわかった。
