AB - Recently in the society, anti-social crime cases such as murder due to Post Traumatic Embitterment Disorder, retaliatory driving and arson, etc, have occurred frequently. Therefore, this study has investigated the problems and countermeasures on arson through the case analysis of arson related crimes due to PTED. The motivation for arson offenses were shown in the order of accidental(36.33%), family discord(23.96%), relieving frustration(16.10%), Mental disorder(12.26%) and pessimistic suicide(11.35%). Arson accidental cases were commonly the biggest reasons for accidental arson due to PTED. Therefore for arson offenses, professional and systematic treatment methods for PTED through cognitive approach should be developed, a systematic research on arson offenses should be studied by establishing the professional arson research institutions and unification of investigation for arson offenses and researches should be strengthened. So We have to protect the safety of the citizens through these preparation plans.
