Trends and Challenges of Domestic Research on Cooperation between Social Enterprises and Enterprises: About CSR Partnerships

The number of cases and related research related to the establishment of strategic partnerships between social enterprises and companies to solve complex social problems and create social impact is increasing, but the trend research that comprehensively examined them is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively analyze research on CSR partnerships between social enterprises and enterprises, understand research trends, and present implications for future research. To this end, a total of 29 academic papers and degrees published by December 2022 were selected to conduct technical analysis and subject analysis. As a result of technical analysis, full-fledged academic discussions began in 2010, and research was most active in 2012 and 2021. As for researchers' majors, business administration is the most common field, and case studies are the most common research methods. The subject analysis focused on the background and motivation of the partnership formation, strengthening factors, performance measurement, and success factors. Based on the results and implications of the descriptive and thematic analyses, future research tasks include: first, expanding the scope of research topics according to changes in the partnership model between social enterprises and corporations; second, research on CSR partnerships of all types of social economy enterprises; third, empirical research on factors that strengthen and succeed in partnerships; fourth, introducing a partnership performance research model and analysis method using various performance indicators and measures; fifth, performance analysis research for all partner organizations; sixth, research on the role of CSR partnership coordinators in intermediate support organizations; and finally, accumulating and sharing data that can be used for partnership research.

AI is no longer a distant story or an imaginary of the future, but has already entered the larger realm of our lives. At a completely different stage, a new stage, a situation that requires a social response. In the absence of defined areas of limited and unclear technical standards, legal frameworks, and social values, the development of artificial intelligence is proceeding very rapidly. There is a need for regulation on copyright, concerns about new types of social problems and crimes, including the protection of personal information, and the need for reform of laws and institutions and active policy responses. In particular, since the popularization of AI has begun in the absence of social standards or legal and institutional mechanisms related to artificial intelligence, it is necessary to discuss and prepare to respond to new changes in all areas, and it is necessary to respond and prepare the youth scene with regard to the youth who will be at the center of this change more than anyone else. The era of generative AI or ChatGPT can be a new challenge for young people. Youth can get more information faster and easily create the results they want. In other words, young people will be exposed to new information due to advances in AI technology, and they will have more choices while also having the capacity to take responsibility for those choices. In addition, the development of artificial intelligence technology is causing new types of crimes, and the privacy and privacy of young people may be threatened. Accordingly, it is necessary to respond to changes in technology related to the emergence of generative AI in the youth field, and all stakeholders related to artificial intelligence should work together to derive educational tasks such as values, systems, and norms, including accurate recognition of artificial social agents who have appeared in front of the public. With this background and necessity, the purpose of this article is to find out about the challenges that the youth scene should prepare for in the era of generative AI-ChatGPT, which has already arrived.

Corporate Citizenship as an Asset of Organizational Culture

The purpose of this study was to examine the association between organizational culture and corporate citizenship, and to empirically demonstrate the effect of corporate citizenship on organizational performance, mediated by organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. To achieve the research objective, a structural equation model was utilized to analyze a sample of 500 employees from Company A. The results of this study indicate that the customer orientation culture and the collaborative culture had a positive effect on philanthropic citizenship, legal citizenship, and ethical citizenship. The competitor orientation culture was found to enhance economic citizenship. In addition, among corporate citizenship, philanthropic and ethical citizenship were found to have a positive effect on the improvement of employees' organizational citizenship behavior, and economic citizenship and legal citizenship had a positive effect on the improvement of employees' organizational commitment. Organizations with a customer orientation culture and a collaborative culture had a positive effect on forming philanthropic and ethical citizenship, and these organizations strengthened the organizational citizenship behavior of employees. The organizational citizenship behavior of employees, which did not directly affect organizational performance, showed a path to increase organizational performance by mediating organizational commitment. In addition, economic corporate citizenship influenced by the competitor orientation culture and legal citizenship influenced by the customer orientation and collaborative culture showed a path to improving organizational performance through the degree of organizational commitment of employees. The findings of this study provide empirical evidence that supports the idea that pursuing economic responsibilities and creating social value are critical strategies and directions for achieving sustainable business management.
